If you shoot Sony, that Zeiss 16-35mm f/4 is killer. I have the Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 as well but use it mostly for astrophotography. The Zeiss 16-35 is nice for an all-day hiking lens as you can do some portrait work at 35mm if you're feelin frisky.

Canon 16-35mm F4L and the Canon 24-70mm F2.8L II. I also love having primes in the bag but these to are the essentials.

I've really enjoyed using my Rokinon 14mm 2.8 for landscape. It produces outstanding sharp images and as a bonus it's a very affordable lens to add to the bag! Here's Some of my favorite shots with it!

Also hooked on the 70-200 lately. I enjoy adding a human element into landscapes and the compression you get from a telephoto lens adds a nice sense of scale. Also love shooting with the Sony 35 f2.8 paired to the A7 series bodies. You get to carry around a small camera that gives you a field of view just a little wider than a “normal” 50mm that I think works well for a lot of the stuff I shoot.

The first lens I bought was a Canon 16-35mm which seemed to work for nearly every landscape and it truly still does. Then I picked up the Canon 70-200mm a year later and I'm finding myself going for the telephoto more and more. In my opinion it really depends on the perspective that you're looking for but right now the 70-200 is what I'm into, but the 16-35 is definitely a lens I wouldn't leave at home though.
