Who has traveled Alaska? Any places that should be hit up in particular first, suggestions?

I live in Alaska, born and raised, what are you looking to do and what time of the year? Downhill skiing/snowboarding at Alyeska Resort in Girdwood for sure or you could go to Hatcher Pass and hike and do that as well for some fresh pow. Ice caves at Byron Glacier near Portage, hiking to Eagle and Symphony Lakes, hiking to Rabbit Lake, Flattop is always a must-highly trafficked during the summer and a bit tough during the winter. Kenai Lake kayaking, Eklutna Lake kayaking or hike...Theres so much to do..:)

I have only been to Haines, Alaska so I have limited knowledge and experience in Alaska but I am attempting to plan a trip there this next summer. One of the top POI for me will be Denali National Park and Katmai National Park (specifically Brooks Camp). In order to see the highest population of bears feeding at Brooks Camp mid-July is the best time to visit Katmai.
